SMF signed MOU with i-Sprint Innovations to Create a SMART Platform to Benefit the Manufacturing Industry in Singapore<\/h2>\n<\/div>

Singapore, 17 January 2018 \u2013\u00a0Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF), the largest national organization representing the interest of manufacturing and manufacturing-related industries in Singapore has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with i-Sprint Innovation (i-Sprint), a leader in securing identity and transactions in the cyber world, on 16 January 2018 to create a SMF SMART (Singapore Manufacturer\u2019s Authentication Readiness Technology) Platform for the industry.<\/p>\n

Counterfeit issues and the ability to track and trace have posted a great challenge to Singapore manufacturers, especially those with products selling overseas. SMF understand the issues faced and have worked with a Singapore based company, i-Sprint Innovations to create a platform for companies to have better control of their product\u2019s movement in the market, protect their brands especially in overseas markets, and enhance their understanding of their buyer\u2019s behaviors.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>

On 16 January 2018, SMF\u2019s Food & Beverage Industry Group Chairman also the Deputy President of SMF, Mr Sunny Koh and i-Sprint\u2019s CEO, Mr Dutch Ng signed MOU to kick-start the SMF SMART project. The MOU signing took place at SMF during the Food Hotel Asia\u2019s Singapore Pavilion exhibitors\u2019 briefing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>

The SMF SMART Platform will be launching in Food Hotel Asia event in April, Singapore.<\/p>\n
