ENTERPRISE ADMINGUARD (EAG)
Overview
Enterprise AdminGuard™ (EAG) facilitates the capture and review of system administration activities. This unique product empowers organizations to audit and safeguard multiple Windows servers from potential misuse of administrators. In addition, this peerless product assists in the recovery of operational errors through the availability of a complete set of audit trails. Intentional or accidental errors such as the deletion of files, modification of databases, and reformatting of hard disks, result in business disruptions and cause loss of customer confidence.
EAG establishes accountability among system administrators, operators and database administrators, by recording every mouse click and key-stroke, and furnishing exhaustive session- based audit trails. EAG acts as a virtual video recorder to allow all activities performed by powerful administrators to be recorded and reviewed by an independent third party.
Components
Host Recorder
This records all keystrokes, mouse actions and screen updates for each login session. It tracks incremental updates to minimize the size of the log files and serializes the log files to guarantee integrity.
Audit Server
The audit server runs on a dedicated machine and minimizes configuration management effort by automatically filing log files. It delivers retention management for the audit log files.
Log Reviewer and Audit Log Player
This utility enables video playback control of the log files, enables management of multiple audit log servers and administers flexible search capabilities.
