Position: Technical Support cum Consultant

Job Description

You will need to be hands-on and engage with the following activities:

  • Deliver an exceptional client experience addressing issues; answering incoming inquiries, effectively applying problem solving techniques, and following issues through to their successful resolution
  • Provide consistent, professional and high-quality client support on 24×7 basis
  • Communicate and collaborate across teams and departments to help solve issues
  • When requested, undertake all aspects of system implementation, support, and customization of solutions to meet the client requirements
  • Other ad hoc tasks assigned

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or IT related discipline
  • 3-4 years of working experience with good hands on experience in software application development implementation and support
  • Experience with at least one of the following would be advantageous:-
    – Application development environments/languages J2EE, Java, JavaScript, .NET or C#
    – Familiar with Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere or Tomcat
    – Familiar with RDBMS basic administration and operation i.e. Oracle,
    Microsoft SQL Server, etc
  • Experience with one or more directories such as Active Directory, IBM Directory Server, SunONE Directory Server and Novell e-Directory
  • Good client management, organizational, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills is desirable
  • Should be resourceful and able to take initiative in a dynamic environment
